MILES Program
The MILES Program is a scholarship open to ALL Hanover County students who graduate with an acceptance letter from an accredited institution of higher education and who are citizens of the United States. Qualifying institutions include Technical, Nursing, Trade, University, College, and Online, etc.
Traditionally, the American Legion Auxiliary has focused on girls' programs such as VA Girls State; however, our Unit has decided to also open this scholarship to boys.
Mastering Inner Leadership and Education
This is a competitive $1,500 scholarship; only one is available per year.

There is plenty of time. Applications close June 1, 2026. All applications will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt.
